Oak Bay Coastal Explorer Kayaking: 3 Hour TourExperience our beautiful Vancouver Island coastal waters from sea level! Setting out from Oak Bay we'll paddle along some of Victoria's most picturesque shorelines. Gliding through shallow passages you will witness a wide variety of amazing sea life including sea stars, anemones, crabs and jelly fish. All of this is on display right beneath your kayak as you are being watched by curious and playful seals and majestic eagles soaring high above or standing guard at their nests! This kayak adventure is perfect for the beginners or visitors to Vancouver Island looking to experience local wildlife and scenery. Portland Island: Kayaking & Hiking combo!A simply brilliant day adventure that combines easy kayaking and hiking... the best of both worlds, for a day activity. This spectacular day adventure takes participants to an island where an easy to moderate hike awaits. Witness the beauty of the Southern gulf islands, its forests, shorelines, its warm summer climate and their calm waters. Participants will be treated to a delicious lunch freshly prepared on site, right before your eyes, by one of our guides. Amazing kayaking, hiking and a delicious lunch on an island... it doesn't get better than that! Duration: 7 hours Departure time: 9:30am. Participants who require transportation will be picked up one hour prior scheduled departure time. Groups of 4 or more can request this adventure outside of the above offered dates. It is recommended to occasionally contact us to see if some other opening have been created. |

Hit the water from Oak Bay and begin your venture along the fascinating shorelines of Victoria. It is not uncommon to see an amazing variety of sea life including jelly fish, crabs, sea stars and much more. Don't be surprised if you get spied on by soaring bald eagles or playful seals. What to wear?
Dress for the day's conditions and bring an extra shirt or sweater as it's usually cooler on the water in a kayak. If the the weather is cool, breezy or has potential for some rain, bring a light windbreaker or rain jacket.

Drinking water
Footwear: Bare feet or aqua shoes work best. Sandals or running shoes will work too!
