Do I need to be in great shape to participate in one of the trips?
Our sea kayaking adventures are not considered to be strenuous or physically demanding, and we do not require a high level of fitness. You must be capable of a few hours of moderate exercise each day. Keep in mind that good general health will go a long way if we happen to encounter some strong winds, tides or time restrictions. On our multi-day sea kayaking tours experience is not required as we have trips
for all skills and levels.
I have never gone sea kayaking before. Can I come along?
Yes, we specialize in teaching first-timers and recommend that they try our three hour or five hour guided sea kayaking tours. These tours are beginner friendly and we do dry land instruction before we launch our sea kayaks.
What is the experience level of your multi-day kayaking tours?
We have sea kayaking adventures for all levels. While some of our sea kayaking adventure tours are better suited for first-timers, we have many adventures for the medium to more advanced outdoor enthusiasts.
What should we take with us?
Generally, wear clothes you find comfortable - shorts are fine and a tee shirt. You should wear something on your feet that you don't mind getting wet. A bottle of water, sunglasses, sun screen, a hat and a spare change of clothes for when you return is also a great idea.
Do we have to book in advance for a trip?
We do recommend that you book in advance to secure a spot for the sea kayaking tour of your choice. You can do so by calling (250) 294-8424. It's easy!
We have children. Will they be able to participate?
Yes, we have tours that are kid friendly!
